Shorn for Summer

Time for the fabulous Summer haircut! If it weren't for the husband's fast approaching 10 Year Reunion, I would definitely consider doing a serious chop again, but my vanity prevails for now.

It's time for me to head off to the stylist and I suggest Celine Dion maybe consider doing the same for her son! (No judgment, see below)

Laissez Le Bon Temps Roulet!

This past weekend David and I went to New Orleans to celebrate our 6th Anniversary! We had a blast visiting the French Quarter. wandering up and down the funky little streets, and I got to enjoy playing, if not ultimately winning some No Limit Texas Hold Em at the fabulous Harrah's Hotel and Casino. (Knocked out All-in With Big Slick, no fair!)

A visit to the city was made complete with a visit at the World Famous Cafe du Monde for a Beignet, my advice use the back line and get them to go, sit down service was slow! Many gorgeous nearby spots overlooking the Mississippi would have provided a more enjoyable background than hundreds of people under the tent. We'll keep it in mind when we return, hopefully this fall!
